J'adore Adam Ant.

 

It's a turkey. Four thumbs and two paws down.  We thought it would be a great movie because The Rock was in it but he couldn't save it.  I recognized the little girl in the movie, she played 'Violet' in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

We're watching either Obsessed (with Beyonce) or The Soloist (with Robert Downey Jr.) tonight.  I'll let you know if those are worth renting, IMHO.

***update-those two movies weren't all that great either.  If it's a melancholy mood you're searching for, you'll find it after you watch The Soloist and if you want to be slightly bored then watch Obsessed.  I'll let you know when we've seen a movie we can recommend.

Duran Duran news!

I'm so excited!  In my world, this is big news.  From what I've heard so far, it sounds absolutely incredible.  They're in the studio, hard at work with Mark Ronson and Nick Hodgson from the Kaiser Chiefs. This was recorded on May 7th, 2009.

We watched this movie tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't goth or creepy, just very romantic. True love. Ahhhh, is there anything better?

Martha Stewart Bloopers, love them. I love her.  It must have killed her to break that Dale Chihuly glass bauble (well, maybe not, she was laughing pretty hard! : ).  Oh, and I loved the scene with Conan O'Brian on the horse.....

Jack is taking a class at school on stop-motion and has already made a short film (featuring a black loosejaw) with a digital camera.  It's really cool and somehow, I'll figure out how to post his work here so his family can see it....

I met my girlfriend, Jenn, out at Starbucks yesterday then later on, I took the boys out to Red Robin for dinner.  

How tacky of me, right?  Hey, check the plastic basket.  It's all good.  The flash was off, I swearz.....

Hugo is doing well.  Today was his last day on Prednisone, knock on wood.
